and mental health. Mental healthcare may include but is not limited to medication management,
regular counselling, referral to allied health providers as well as preparation and
ongoing management of GP mental healthcare plans.
We provide an experienced, private and comfortable place to discuss your mental health with
your local GP. Many patients are nervous or uncomfortable discussing their mental health.

A comprehensive annual health check is recommended for all people aged over 75
to identify any health issues and optimise quality of life.
Areas assessed may include but are not limited to lifestyle, mobility, medication,
nutrition, exercise, safety in the home, care arrangements and support networks.
45-49 YO’s
A comprehensive health check is recommended for all people aged between 45-49 to
identify any health issues and optimise quality of life.

Some occupations have increased risk of injury or illness, and doctors specialising in
occupational medicine aim to ensure that high standards of health and safety at work are maintained.
Occupational medicine may include but is not limited to treatment, management and prevention of
injuries, return to work planning, pre-employment medicals and WorkCover consultations.
Please advise staff at time of booking if you’re coming in for a Workcover consultation. Additional
forms may need to be completed before appointment.
Prema House Family Medical Centre is well equipped for minor procedures are conducted by our
doctors and nurses.
Procedures include but are not limited to ‘freezing therapy for sunspots and warts, mole removals,
treatment of abscesses, ear wax removal, wound reviews, and ECG's.
Our nurse-led Cervical Screening Test (CST) clinic provides a safe, supportive, confidential and
inclusive environment. Our experienced practice nurses are specially trained to perform CSTs, on all
persons with a Cervix, answer any questions you may have, and help you feel as comfortable as
possible throughout the process.
This service is fully bulk-billed, meaning there are no out-of-pocket costs for Medicare eligible
patients.
Regular cervical screening is an important part of maintaining your health. If you’re due for a
test or unsure when your next one should be, our team is here to help.
Our sexual health clinic offers confidential, judgment-free care delivered by our skilled
practice nurses. We provide testing, screening, and support for a wide range of sexual health
concerns, including STIs, contraception information, and general sexual wellbeing.
All appointments in this clinic are bulk-billed, making it easy and affordable to stay on top
of your sexual health.
Whether you’re seeking routine screening or need advice, our nurses are here to help with
compassionate, professional care for all genders and sexualities.
